Mahammadzaid Maniya

I am Mahammadzaid, preferred name is Zaid. A second-year student studying Mathematics with Data Science at City, University of London, with 4+ years of tutoring experience. I have taught students online and also supported learners in in-person after-school intervention sessions, helping them build confidence, improve understanding, and make steady progress.

My lessons are structured, clear, and personalised. I start by identifying what you already know and where you’re losing marks, then we build a strong foundation before moving into exam-style practice. I explain topics in a simple, step-by-step way and focus on helping you understand the why, not just memorise methods. Throughout the lesson, I check understanding using short questions and guided practice, so you can solve problems independently by the end.

I use a supportive approach while keeping lessons focused and goal-driven. You’ll learn efficient problem-solving strategies, common mistake prevention, and how to show working clearly. Each session finishes with a quick summary and a tailored plan of what to practise next, so you always know how to improve between lessons.
