Hi! I am Magdalene, a passionate and experienced tutor based in the UK with a real love for helping people learn and grow.
I hold a Masters degree in Advertising and Public Relations from De Montfort University Leicester and I have hands on teaching experience working with students of all ages and abilities. I previously taught at Alpha Montessori School where I delivered personalised lessons, mentored students and supported their academic and personal development.
My lessons are relaxed, friendly and completely tailored to you. I believe every student learns differently so I never use a one size fits all approach. Before we even start I take time to understand your goals, your current level and how you best absorb information. From there I build lessons specifically around you.
For my lessons I use a mix of conversation practice, written exercises, real life examples and interactive activities to keep things engaging and practical. I teach online via video call so you can learn from the comfort of your own home at a time that suits you.
I specialise in teaching English to complete beginners and children. I am patient, encouraging and I always make sure my students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes because that is how real learning happens!
