I am a second year history and philosophy student. I achieved 3 A*s in my A-Levels, which included Biology. I have tutored one student in history and biology through her GCSE year and I volunteer in local primary schools. I will be conducting my lessons over Teams using its interactive features when necessary. My lessons may consist of the following things, depending on your needs:

- Helping you learn or understand content for the first time
- Creating a detailed revision plan with you
- Developing revision techniques that work for you to ensure that you memorise the content
- Going through exam papers together to find where you can get those extra marks
- Analysing mark schemes to find the patterns to make your exams as easy as possible
- Together go through and or mark work I or your school has set

I will cater my lessons to your specific needs, which may change over the course of receiving tuition. We can make a plan for how we want our tuition to progress over time, or we can decide what feels most beneficial lesson by lesson! I have been using the Kerboodle textbook but, given access, can use whichever resources you are already comfortable with. With a large amount of content it is imperative that we first memorise it! After then practicing exam technique, you will learn the skills needed to understand what the examiner wants you to write to get those all important marks! I hope that with my patience and compassion and your willingness to learn, you will find fulfilment and enjoyment in learning biology.
