Lucy Squire

For literature I will go over plot overview, key quotes, and essay plans/ structures. For my own GCSEs I studied A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Romeo and Juliet, and the Love and Relationships poetry selection all under AQQ, so I have strong knowledge for these texts and will be able to help well, however I am very prepared to learn the other texts if needed. I’ve also read Animal Farm and Jekyll and Hyde and studying poetry at A level, so can approach any poem.
For language I will go over extracts, questions, and past papers in order to help achieve as many marks as possible. I am an avid reader, therefore I have a strong ability to look at different extracts and pick out key techniques, making me useful for all questions. I also have a strong understanding on how to write for different audiences, so will be very useful in aiding for question 5 paper 2. I’ve carried on with descriptive writing through joining culture club at my school, where I am writing collaboratively a story, which means I should be useful for answering question 5 on paper 1.
For 11+ I will go through practice papers for English. My youngest brother is currently in year 6 of primary school, where I often help him study for his SATs
I am a calm and approachable person who is eager to help teach others. I have 3 younger brothers, so my patience is strong; one of my brothers is currently in key stage 4, so I often help him with his GCSE study.
