As a current primary teacher, I bring up-to-date classroom experience and a wide range of teaching resources to support learning and build confidence.

I use a variety of approaches to help pupils understand new concepts. In numeracy, this often includes the concrete, pictorial and abstract (CPA) approach, where learners first explore ideas using practical explorations and move to independent working. I believe in scaffolding learning across all areas and improving confidence in pupils.
