I use formalised testing (eg exam papers) to gain an understanding of where there may be knowledge gaps. I use the data collected from the testing to create unique lesson plans and scheme of work for each student that I tutor. I utilise and range of different techniques and strategies to ensure all students are able to feel a sense of accomplishment, and be proud of their results when they receive their GCSE results.

I have been working as a private tutor for 8 years, and in that time I have seen many students achieve grades that they didn’t think was possible. I have also helped many parents when it has come to home school education for their children. I have experience tutoring both in person and online, and am currently in the process of creating my own online tutoring course, which will be student lead. My course will allow students to get as much assistance as they require, whilst also being provided with a range of different practice questions and worked example videos that I have created. Each student will have weekly feedback tailored to them and what they have achieved/ may need further assistance with, along with as many video calls as they require access to throughout the week for extra support when required.
