My lessons are structured, interactive and tailored to each student’s goals, whether they are preparing for GCSE, IGCSE, A Level or IB examinations, building confidence or improving conversational fluency. I begin by identifying strengths and gaps, then combine clear explanations, targeted practice, retrieval activities, authentic language and exam-style questions. Lessons include regular speaking practice, immediate feedback and practical strategies students can apply independently. With over eight years’ experience teaching and leading languages in British and international schools, I create a supportive but challenging environment in which students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and making measurable progress.

I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual. Some students benefit from a highly structured, exam-focused approach, while others thrive through discussion, games, real-life scenarios and creative activities that make language learning enjoyable and memorable. For examination classes, I focus on developing the specific skills and techniques needed to maximise marks, including understanding mark schemes, mastering exam question styles and building confidence under timed conditions. I also provide personalised revision plans, detailed feedback and resources that students can use between lessons to reinforce their learning.
