I have previously tutored GCSE Music students at my old secondary school, helping them refine their brief compositions as well as teaching them the basic music theory needed to get high marks in appraising.

I have achieved an A* in Music at A-Level and a 9 in Music at GCSE and am looking to help others achieve the grades they need and desire. I predominantly have experience with the exam board Edexcel for both A-Level and GCSE however can tutor other exam boards if needed.

I also have achieved a distinction in ABRSM Grade 5 Music Theory, with a mark of 71/75, and would be happy to teach students the content of this qualification if they are seeking to complete it in order to enter for a Grade 6-8 Practical exam.

Alongside my experience with music, I can also tutor Maths and French to GCSE level. I have attained 9s in both these subjects at GCSE and an A* in Maths and a high A in French at A-Level (2 marks off an A*). I strive to always have experience in a level above what I teach to guarantee I have a deep understanding of the content I teach and to ensure that you are getting advice from someone who has been in your shoes before.

I look to teach students in a way that works for them, whether it be through live demonstrations and explanations, or through creating tailored worksheets and resources that support their learning. Your wish is my command!
