Hi there, I'm a 24-year-old recent graduate who is originally from London.
I began teaching English mid-2022 to adult-learners during my CELTA qualification, after which I taught teenagers at a summer school for a month. I therefore have over 90 hours of teaching experience, working with both adults and teenagers with a variety of English language competencies.
Having recently graduated from the University of Leeds, completing a four-year BA in International Relations and Spanish, my primary interest has since been to support second language acquisition in a multi-lingual classroom-based environment. I have more recently begun tutoring online, hoping to gain in experience and confidence as I continue to aid my students in any possible way I can.
I have a goals-oriented approach to teaching where I spend the first lesson gauging your language level and discussing with you what you're hoping to achieve from the lessons, followed by a realistic and coherent plan for how we can bring about progress and ultimately execute your goals.
