Larisa Prestipino

Hello! My name is Larisa, but everyone calls me Lari. I’m originally from Rosario, Argentina, so Spanish is my native language, and I now live in Dorset. I teach Spanish online to beginners.

I love teaching, and I have worked with students for many years. I started at university, where I was a collaborator professor and later an adjunct professor. After that I worked as a private tutor, giving school support to five children aged 6 to 13. What I enjoyed most was seeing them progress, learn new things and gain confidence in themselves. That is what motivates me every time I start with a new student.

My lessons are friendly, relaxed and adapted to you. From the very first class we start with simple conversation, so you begin speaking Spanish right away, without pressure. Little by little, we build on it with basic grammar and everyday vocabulary, explained in a clear and simple way. As a native speaker, I can help you learn natural pronunciation and the expressions people really use, not just textbook phrases.

I know how it feels to be a beginner, because I have learned English and Italian myself. I understand that making mistakes is a normal part of learning, and I will always be patient and encouraging.
