Growing up in the Middle East among an extremely diverse group of people, I combine rigorous academic training with empathy, adaptability, and strong communication. I strive to offer students not just tutoring, but a mentor who can make physics and maths both accessible and rewarding to finally click with.

I am a physics and mathematics tutor with a strong academic foundation and a teaching profile shaped by both high-level study and real-world educational outreach. My academic training includes completing HarvardX Calculus APL1x with a top grade (A) and attending the Physics Summer Programme at Somerville College, University of Oxford, where I deepened my understanding of problem-solving, mathematical modelling, and core physics concepts.

Using these experiences and many more, I will tailor each session to match with the student's goals.
Beyond academics, I bring two years of direct tutoring experience, having worked with sixth-form students in one-to-one and small group settings. My sessions focus not only on exam technique, but on building genuine conceptual understanding helping students see why formulas work, not just how to use them. This approach has consistently improved both confidence and results.

What makes my profile truly distinctive is my current work with the Durham University Outreach Programme, where I tutor refugees and asylum seekers in science and quantitative subjects. Teaching in this context has refined my ability to adapt explanations to different backgrounds, learning styles, and starting levels an essential skill for any effective tutor.

Alongside teaching, I have a strong communication background, including international debate awards such as a Gold Medal at the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round in Beijing (Top 5%), and multiple “Star Debater” awards. These experiences translate directly into clear explanations, structured thinking, and engaging lessons.
