I’m a firm believer that English shouldn’t feel like a chore or a dusty, boring academic job to get out of the way. As a hands-on tutor covering both Literature and Language, my goal is to strip away the pretentious analysis and get straight to the heart of why stories and communication actually matter. Whether you’re a primary student finding your voice or an A-Level learner diving back into the classics, for the exams, I will adapt my approach to fit exactly where you are.

For me, the best learning happens through genuine conversation. I’m not here to lecture you from a pedestal; I’m here to explore texts and ideas alongside you. We’ll dive into exciting analysis and break down complex themes into relatable, real-world concepts. I want to know what you think, not just what the mark scheme says you should think.

Teaching English is something I truly love, and I aim to make that energy infectious. If I’m enjoying the session, hopefully, you will too. There’s nothing more rewarding than when a student discovers their own passion for a poem, a play, or a perfectly crafted sentence!
