My lessons are adapted to each student and their needs. Generally, they are best suited for adults who are developing their English at the intermediate or advanced levels.

The following are examples of common lessons, but I have taught many other lessons which have used unique approaches to tackle unique requirements:

Conversation Lessons:

We will have a conversation and I will help to guide you through various topics (focusing on topics that you need to strengthen) and give you constant guidance and direction on your English, whilst allowing you enough time to speak, so that you develop your linguistic "muscle" in the right way. We can cover any topic from coffee to camels, to philosophy and astrophysics.

Writing Lessons:

You will be asked to bring a piece of your writing to the lesson (or be set a brief assignment if you don't have any). We will go through this piece of work and I will pro-actively re-work and re-structure your writing, whilst explaining my corrections. You will be free to ask me questions during this process and this way, you will be able to see how your writing can be improved for the next assignment and so on, creating an overall trend of understanding and improvement.

Comprehension Lessons:

You can bring a desired text to the lesson; something that you are struggling to understand. This could be a piece of poetry, an article, an academic work etc. We will then review the text at your pace until its meaning and use of language become clear.

There are many more options for our lessons but hopefully, these few examples give you some idea of the scope that is available.
