I'm a full-time languages tutor with three years of online experience helping students unlock their potential in their chosen language. I specialise in GCSE and A Level preparation, but my classes are for all ages and abilities.

Having taught German and Spanish for more than three years, I know exactly what examiners are looking for. In GCSE and A Level sessions, we often do the following things:

??Past paper analysis and mock exam practice
??Regular conversation practice, using the target language wherever possible
??Revise grammar and complex structures which unlock higher grades
??Use a variety of authentic materials in the target language to improve in all disciplines

My sessions vary depending on the learner's objectives, but I always use a variety of audiovisual and interactive content - such as videos, podcasts, games, and short stories - to make sessions more dynamic and allow the learner to engage with the target language in a "real world" context. When language isn't really "your thing", class activities and conversations tailored to your hobbies and interests make the learning process much more bearable, so I make an effort to get to know my students.

I have a Modern Languages BA with first-class honours from the University of Bristol and currently studying for an MA in Linguistics at the University of Manchester, where I intend to specialise in language education.

I'm fluent in Spanish, as I use it every day with family and coworkers. I also have professional competence in German and Portuguese.

I also hold a Level 5 TEFL qualification and have successfully prepared countless students ranging from A1 to C2 for exams with LanguageCert, Trinity, Cambridge, IELTS, and APTIS.

I have studied three foreign languages and I know how scary it can be to speak as a learner. With me, you will see that mistakes are no big deal, but an opportunity to learn and laugh!
