I offer friendly, supportive tutoring for primary-aged children, helping them build confidence, improve their skills and enjoy learning. I can support children across the primary curriculum, including English, Maths, Reading, Phonics, Spelling, Grammar and Writing.

Whether your child needs a little extra support, wants to catch up with areas they find difficult, or would benefit from being challenged further, I can tailor sessions to their individual needs and learning style. I aim to make lessons engaging, relaxed and enjoyable, while still helping children make clear progress.

I can also provide support with homework, SATs preparation, school transitions and general confidence with learning. Sessions can take place online or in person in the Selby area, during evenings and school holidays.

As someone who works in a primary school, I understand the expectations of the primary curriculum and the importance of making children feel comfortable and confident. Every session will be planned around your child and their specific goals.

I have experience teaching in Reception, Year 1, Year 3 and Year 5.
