About me

Every student is different, which means they learn in different ways. During the first session, it's necessary to asses not only their level at a certain subject but what methodology to use. Every student is different, which means they learn in different ways. During the first session, it's necessary to asses not only their level at a certain subject but what methodology to use. During my time in Colombia teaching English I liked using shows and songs as a way to practice listening, creative stories for writing and speaking, and live practice for vocabulary. When talking about history I like igniting the student's passion for it, making history something fun and not a sore to learn. Visits to historical sites, movies, books and testimonies are a way to do that. Relating history to the student's life, experiences and interests is a way to memorize facts. I hope I'll be seeing you soon.

Laura was amazing, She helped me learn english in a easy way. I always had had problems because for me english lessons are so boring. But, Laura taught me with a lot of games, and linked the lessons with my daily routine. For example, I study philosophy and Laura researched about phenomenology, my favorite topic in philosophy, and She did a lot of examples and sentenses related with that. Laura's lessons are the best. When I started learning English with her, she helped me love the language. She is patient, empathic, and organized. Which is amazing because she teaches English in a fun way. She incentives you to lose your fears about the language and she makes you feel comfortable in the learning process. A few months ago I got a job in customer service in English thanks to Laura's lessons. I can assure you that she won't judge you and her only concern is that you enjoy the learning process.
