I am a tutor, editor, proofreader and writer. I have two degrees from the University of Edinburgh and a proofreading qualification. For the last 15 years I have been working as a proofreader, editor, tutor and writing coach. I have extensive experience working on academic essays, research projects, PhDs and publications.

I enjoy working with people and helping them to make their work the best it can be. I know that university can be a challenging time, either due to the change in academic setting, change in expectations, or to the change from one country to the next, and I like helping people to overcome this and produce quality pieces of work.

I provide academic tutoring in essay writing, assignment completion and research for undergraduate and master’s students. This service is designed for those who find themselves struggling or overwhelmed by a university project. We start by just talking about what challenges you are encountering, and then we take it from there.

I can provide any kind of support you need, from discussions on the topic, planning, building your argument, developing a methodology, feedback on the draft, support and encouragement, to feedback on the final draft and proofreading and editing, or a combination thereof.
