Hello! I’m a passionate and dedicated maths tutor specialising in Key Stage 2 through to GCSE. I achieved a grade 9 at GCSE in both Maths and Physics and am currently studying Maths, Physics, and Engineering at A-level. This gives me a deep, up-to-date understanding of the mathematics and physics your child is learning, along with clear insight into how these topics develop at higher levels.
My lessons are highly interactive and fully personalised. Each session is tailored to your child’s individual needs — whether they’re building confidence with fractions in Year 5, mastering algebra at KS3, or preparing for GCSE exams. We start with a quick recap and diagnostic questions, followed by clear, step-by-step teaching using visual aids, real-life examples, and worked solutions. Students then practise independently while I provide live feedback to correct misconceptions straight away.

The lessons are dynamic and encouraging. I focus on deep understanding rather than rote learning, using varied activities such as problem-solving challenges, mental maths games, exam-style questions, and regular progress checks. I also teach essential exam techniques, time management, and revision strategies that are crucial for GCSE success.

I use a mix of interactive digital tools (such as online whiteboards and Desmos) and traditional methods, choosing whatever works best for each learner. Homework is purposeful, marked promptly with detailed feedback.
