First, I get all the information from you prior to the lesson: what is the lesson that you need to study, what is your goal and how in depth you need to learn it ass well as your class literature. Then, if it's the first time we have class, I try and see if there are any basic knowledge stuff that you've missed or don't understand quite well. I always try to find the best method of learning for everyone, because not everyone likes to learn in the same way. I like to communicate all the time, to ask you repeatedly if everything is crystal clear and if I should repeat something. I don't care if we go over something a million times, I am not giving up on explaining and making you understand the lesson. I want students to be honest with me every step of the way because I believe that being transparent is the only way to have an efficient work environment.
