Koushiti Mondal

Koushiti have worked for more than one year in Delhi Public School as a class teacher,in Kolkata, India. She had thirty students of four years old in her class. Koushiti have volunteered for one year in Garnetbank Primary School in Glasgow. She was volunteering from classes P1 to P7. Koushiti was assisting the teachers in numeracy,literacy and during the P.E lessons. She had a good relationship with the parents in Delhi Public School as well as in Garnrtbank Primary School. As a person Koushiti is very patient which helps her to manage children very well. She used different teaching aids for numeracy,literacy and story telling. Koushiti even said social stories to children to help them to develop their behaviours. She used different flash cards and picture charts to teach her children. She is very creative in art and craft activities. Koushiti always using different play way methods to teach her own children at home. Koushiti have done a two years full time primary teaching course from India from a renowned institution. She even used to give several private tuition classes to children in the primary level in India. Koushiti is very passionate about teaching and nurturing children in their developing stage. She always keeps in mind the well-being of the children when teaching them. Koushiti can speak in three languages,Bengali,Hindi and English. Koushiti is currently undergoing a course on Individuals with disability from The NorthEast Scotland College. She have also done a short course on Perspectives of play from the Open University.She is very keen to teach children who need support in English to feel confident and can communicate better in a foreign country.
