I am very flexible in delivering my lessons. I focus on each student as an individual who has genuine concerns and needs help. The lessons will be tailored to address the specific needs of the student, enabling he or she to express his/her confusions and receive nonjudgmental support. Each math concept is paired with events that take place each day. With this, students can tell that sorting pens and books can be applied to basic operations in algebra. They'll also know that problems have multiple solutions just as meat and fish can be grilled, fried, or boiled before consumption.
Their understanding of the concepts will be assessed by letting them develop examples of their own, and to write questions that will be solved collaboratively.
They will have the opportunity to try several methods of solving the same problems, as well given the opportunity to build their own methods of solving math problems.
They'll be encouraged to do assignments by trying varying ways of arriving at the same answers.
