My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive and tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style and academic goals. I understand that every student approaches English differently, so I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, sharing ideas and developing their understanding without feeling overwhelmed.

Lessons will be structured around the student's current level, school curriculum and areas they would like to improve. Whether you need support with English Language, English Literature, essay writing, reading comprehension, creative writing or examination preparation, I will adapt each session to focus on the skills that matter most to you. I particularly enjoy helping students develop their analytical abilities, explore alternative interpretations of literary texts and learn how to construct sophisticated, well-developed exam responses.

I place a strong emphasis on making difficult concepts easier to understand. I create my own revision resources, including detailed notes, essay plans, practice questions and simplified explanations, to help students consolidate their knowledge both during and outside lessons. Rather than simply providing answers, I encourage students to think independently, develop their own interpretations and understand how to approach unfamiliar questions with confidence.

My lessons will involve a combination of explanations, guided practice, discussions and exam-style questions, ensuring that students actively engage with what they are learning. I also believe in regularly revisiting previous topics to strengthen understanding and identify areas that may need further attention.

Above all, I want students to leave each lesson feeling more confident, motivated and capable than when they started. My aim is to make English an enjoyable subject while helping students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to achieve their desired grades.
