I have been teaching Mathematics for over five years, working with students from primary level all the way through secondary school in both classroom and one on one settings. My approach is simple: I find out exactly where a student is struggling, then I build the lesson around that gap. I do not believe in rushing through topics. I stay on a concept until the student genuinely understands it, not just remembers it for a test. My sessions are calm and encouraging, and I make a point of creating an environment where students feel safe to say they do not understand something. A lot of students have been told they are just not a maths person. I have never met a student who could not improve with the right support and enough patience. I use worked examples, real practice questions and clear step by step explanations, and I adjust my style depending on whether a student learns better visually, verbally or through repetition. Every lesson I deliver is focused, structured and built around the individual in front of me.
