My lessons are friendly, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I like to make learning French enjoyable and practical. Using conversation, games, listening activities, and real-life examples to build confidence in speaking and understanding.

I focus on helping students feel comfortable expressing themselves in French, whether they’re complete beginners or want to improve their fluency. Each lesson includes a mix of speaking, reading, writing, and listening practice, with plenty of encouragement and feedback.

As a Learning Support Assistant in a SEN school, I’m experienced in adapting lessons for different learning styles and abilities, ensuring every student feels supported and motivated. Having lived and studied in Belgium for eight years, I bring authentic language skills and cultural understanding to every session.

I also like to include elements of French culture, such as music, food, and traditions, to make lessons more engaging and relevant. Students can expect lessons that are fun but structured, with clear goals and steady progress each week. I believe learning a language should feel exciting, not stressful, and I always create a relaxed, positive environment where students can enjoy learning and gain confidence.

Additionally, I incorporate personalised activities based on each student’s interests and goals, such as role-playing everyday situations, exploring French literature, or preparing for exams. I encourage regular practice between lessons and provide helpful tips and resources to reinforce learning. My aim is not only to teach French but also to inspire a lasting interest and love for the language.
