My lessons are designed to be friendly, supportive and focused on the individual student. I understand that every student learns differently, so I will adapt each lesson depending on their current knowledge, confidence and areas that need improvement.

?? Lesson Structure

At the beginning of each lesson, I will briefly go through the topic with the student to understand what they already know. This helps me identify any gaps in their knowledge and decide which areas we should focus on.

I will then break the topic down into smaller, manageable sections and explain each part clearly. I will use simple explanations, examples and questions to make difficult concepts easier to understand.

?? Practice and Questions

A large part of my lessons will involve working through questions together. I will first demonstrate how to approach a question and explain my thought process. I will then encourage the student to attempt similar questions themselves while providing guidance when needed.

For GCSE students, I can also focus on exam-style questions, exam technique and understanding how to structure answers. This can help students become more confident when applying their knowledge to different types of questions.

?? Interactive Learning

I want my lessons to be interactive rather than simply talking through a topic. Students will be encouraged to ask questions, explain their thinking and identify areas they find challenging. I will create a comfortable environment where students can make mistakes and learn from them without feeling pressured.

?? Personalised Support

Each lesson will be adapted to the student’s individual needs and goals. Whether they need help understanding a particular topic, preparing for an upcoming test or building their overall confidence, I will adjust the lesson accordingly.

My aim is to make learning clear, engaging and enjoyable, while helping students develop a stronger understanding of their subjects and become more confident in their own ability.
