Take a student oriented approach. I am happy to be flexible in terms of format of lessons for what best suits each student on a personal level. Tend to begin with a focus on an example question and then move on to establish a more generalised understanding of the topic. When tutoring essay subjects, I like to read over student's essays intermittently to offer personalised feedback in addition to covering the content of studied texts or time periods. Try to keep sessions in time with school content and to pay special attention to areas of difficulty. All sessions will take place online as I am not consistently in the same area but I am happy to be flexible in terms of times and number of sessions a week. Still being a student myself, I understand how hard studying for GCSEs and A-Levels can be so will try to support students in whatever ways I can.

I have been tutoring for 3 years, worked at activity camps and in primary schools so have significant experience with a wide range of ages. I have also worked with students with a wide variety of goals so am well equipped to help whether you are aiming to pass or aiming for top grades. Achieved entirely 8s and 9s at GCSE and As and A*s at A Level so have an excellent grasp on the exam content and subject material.

Happy to tutor in most subjects at GCSE level or below excluding Geography and Modern Languages. Also happy to tutor in English Literature, History and Biology at A-Level.
