After students have completed a past paper for either Foundation or Higher Maths (GCSE), I will produce an outline of lessons tailored to their current abilities.

The lessons will include:

- A complete coverage of areas of improvement.
- A step by step run-through of example questions.
- Independent tasks to show understanding.
- Homework/ work to be completed outside of lessons.

Once all areas of improvement have been covered, students will complete past papers in sections (under my supervision) to ensure complete understanding of each topic, to prevent any gaps in their knowledge!

Experience and Skills:

- 1 year studying TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
- Understanding of successful teaching methods.
- I am able to adapt my teaching to suit students’ needs specifically in the case of learning disabilities.
- I have A-Level qualifications in both Maths and Further Maths (Grade A), so I will be able to adequately support learning in GCSE level Maths.

I aim to provide an stress-free learning environment to allow students to thrive in their studies! I understand many students may struggle with a large additional workload, so I will tailor their homework as to not place them at a disadvantage in their academics beyond tutoring.

*If you are below the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to contact me in order for you to begin taking lessons.
Prior to starting lessons, both the parent/guardian and student will need to be present for a meeting to discuss targets and to confirm a person over the age of 18 has allowed the student to participate.

** If you are over the age of 18, prior to starting classes, we will hold a meeting to discuss targets. If needed, I may require you to provide evidence to ensure you are over the age of 18 for your placement to be confirmed.

If you are unable to have a parent or guardian present in the initial meeting, or are unable to provide proof of age, I will not be able to continue with tutoring until the above conditions are met.
