*My GCSE Biology lessons with you*
All lessons are online over Teams, so you can join from anywhere with just your laptop and notes. We’ll use screen share for diagrams, animations, and past papers, so everything stays clear and visual.
*Format & flow*
Each session is built around you and the topics you choose. We start by breaking down the concept in plain English, no textbook jargon. I’ll use diagrams, real-life examples, and simple analogies so ideas like osmosis, cell transport, DNA, inheritance, and ecology actually make sense and stick.
Once the explanation is done, we warm up with basic knowledge questions. This isn’t a test or pressure. It’s just a quick check to see what’s solid and what needs more work. If something’s shaky, we pause and fix it right there before moving on.
When the basics are secure, we move straight into GCSE past papers. This is where grades improve. We’ll tackle questions together, break down what each command word means, and practice how to structure answers to get full marks. You’ll learn how to write strong 6-mark responses, handle data and graph questions, and avoid the small mistakes that cost marks.
*Content & dynamics*
Lessons are interactive, not lectures. I’ll ask you questions, get you explaining ideas back to me, and adjust the pace to match you. Strong on genetics but stuck on required practicals? We’ll spend more time where you need it. Optional homework is available if you want extra past-paper practice between sessions.
The goal is simple: make biology less confusing, build your confidence answering exam questions, and help you walk into the exam knowing exactly what to do.
If that sounds good, tell me one topic you find tricky and we’ll start there.
