Katie Lee-Smith

I am a first-year Dental student at Cardiff University with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I am friendly, approachable, and enjoy working with others, particularly in helping them build confidence and achieve their goals.

I want to teach because I find it really rewarding to help others understand topics that they may initially find challenging. Having recently been through GCSEs, A-levels, and the UCAT myself, I understand the pressures students face and the importance of clear explanations and support. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas into simpler concepts and helping students gain confidence in their abilities.

I am particularly motivated to teach because I know how much of a difference a supportive tutor can make, and I want to provide that same encouragement and guidance to others.
