Hello! I’m a passionate and experienced piano teacher with over 20 years of experience teaching both children and adults. My lessons are designed to be joyful, encouraging, and tailored to the individual needs and goals of each student.

In the early stages, I focus on pre-note activities: hand positioning, listening skills, rhythm games, and musical storytelling. I use creative and playful approaches to help young beginners feel relaxed and inspired.

As students progress, we explore note reading, music theory, technique, sound quality, and expressive playing. I place strong emphasis on tone production and musical interpretation from the very beginning, so students develop a deep connection with music—not just the notes.

My students learn about different composers and styles, and when ready, they are encouraged to take part in performances or prepare for ABRSM or Trinity exams. However, exams are never a requirement—some students simply enjoy playing for their own pleasure, and that is just as meaningful.

I teach in a kind, supportive atmosphere where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. I work with both children of all ages and adults, including complete beginners and returning learners.

Above all, my goal is to help every student enjoy the process, discover their own musical voice, and feel proud of what they achieve.
