I am a qualified teacher with 15 years of experience in education. Engaging, professional and fun educator with a passion for differentiation and an understanding of a variety of learning styles. I am a qualified teacher with 15 years of experience in education. Engaging, professional and fun educator with a passion for differentiation and an understanding of a variety of learning styles. I believe the core to learning is finding the excitement and passions of a child and working with them to ensure a genuine understanding of the who/what/when/where and whys of learning. I will help your children to really grasp those concepts that just haven't quite clicked, YET. We will build resilience, and with my experience of the curriculum I will work to find the best fit for you and your family.
We will work using the curriculum framework and resources from Whiterose maths, PlanBee as well as years worth of tricks of the trade to get your child in a position of confidence!

My child has high SEN needs and struggles to engage with traditional learning methods. Kate instantly made my child feel at ease, and was so incredibly patient with him. She tailored work to reflect his abilities and adapted to situations calmly when his attention wobbled. She made his learning fun which helped him to engage, and she connected with him easily. Her skills and perseverance are incredible. I 100% recommend Kate, especially if you want to feel comfortable and understood.
