Highly experienced English Teacher and Tutor with track record of outstanding results

I have 14 years' experience of teaching English in secondary schools, alongside working as a private tutor. I am DBS checked and happy to work with students online or in person. I offer tuition at KS3, GCSE and A Level.
My approach is to increase student confidence by building knowledge and skills in areas of weakness. I personalise and differentiate tuition, according to the learning style and requirements of each student.
Sessions include a mix of discussion, revision, independent working and thinking time and consolidation. If agreed, I like to set a small amount of 'homework' that I can go through with students in subsequent meetings.
