My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s level and goals. I focus on building understanding first, then applying knowledge confidently to exam-style questions and coursework.

A typical session starts with a quick check-in to identify what the student is struggling with or wants to focus on. I then break down key business concepts step by step, using clear explanations, real-world examples, and simple diagrams where helpful. We work through exam-style questions or practice tasks together, focusing on how to structure answers, use correct terminology, and pick up marks effectively.

I studied Business Studies at GCSE and A-level, and completed a BA (Hons) in Law and Business Studies, so I’m very familiar with exam requirements and common problem areas. I also place strong emphasis on exam technique, including evaluation, application to context, and time management.

Lessons are interactive rather than lecture-style, and I adapt my approach depending on whether a student prefers discussion, written practice, or guided examples. My aim is always to help students feel confident, supported, and clear on what they need to do to improve.
