I engage my students by using relevant examples and exploring ideas in a manner that the textbook does not and is difficult to do in a classroom setting. This personalises the learning process and allows for my students to enjoy learning and therefore do well.

I ensure that my students are prepared for their exams by setting regular tests to be sat under exam conditions as this gives a sample of the real test but also highlights any weaknesses in understanding which can then be tackled with further examples orfurther explanation
