My guitar lessons are fun, informal, and completely tailored to you. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you can enjoy playing, ask questions freely, and learn without pressure. Whether you're a complete beginner, picking the guitar back up, or looking to take your playing to the next level, lessons are built around your goals, interests, and musical tastes.
For students who choose to learn at **Nest Collective Studios in Ancoats, Manchester**, I offer a unique opportunity to professionally record your progress in a fully equipped recording studio. Using industry-standard microphones, software, and studio equipment, we can capture your performances as you develop, allowing you to hear your improvement over time and build confidence in your playing. Many students find this incredibly motivating, and it provides a lasting record of their musical journey.
Each lesson usually starts with a quick warm-up or recap before moving into practical playing. This could include learning chords, scales, rhythm and timing, improving technique, developing improvisation skills, or working through songs you love. I specialise in indie, blues, funk, and rock, but I'm always happy to adapt lessons to whatever style inspires you most.
I've been playing guitar for over 12 years and teaching since 2022, working with students of all ages and abilities, including learners with additional needs. My teaching style is supportive, flexible, and encouraging, keeping lessons enjoyable while ensuring steady progress and growing confidence.
Above all, my goal is to make lessons something you genuinely look forward to — helping you enjoy the guitar, stay motivated, and continue improving in a way that feels natural, rewarding, and creative.
