Hi! My name is June, and I am a recent graduate from University College Dublin with a 2.1 degree in Biological, Biomedical and Biomolecular Sciences, specialising in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I achieved 89% in Leaving Certificate Biology and received an A grade for my final-year research thesis.

I offer Biology, and general science tutoring for primary and secondary school students, as well as support with exam preparation, study techniques and revision planning. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they are looking to improve their understanding of a topic, prepare for an upcoming exam or build confidence in a subject they find challenging.

I aim to make lessons interactive and engaging, focusing on clear explanations, worked examples and practice questions. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate so that they develop a deeper understanding of the material rather than simply memorising information.

Through my roles as a Student Partner in Teaching and Learning and Careers Ambassador at UCD, I gained experience supporting and communicating with students from a wide range of backgrounds. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable learning at their own pace.

My goal is not only to help students improve their academic performance but also to help them become more confident and independent learners.
