A driven, outgoing, and dynamic PGCE Secondary Geography Graduate with distinction, with pedagogical strongpoints that include discussion-based learning, oracy skills, subject knowledge, and fostering positive relationships with budding geographers, through engaging techniques (including experience with SEND and PP) that heighten the appeal of the subject of Geography and the wonder that surrounds it.

In reference to the anthropogenic world that surrounds future generations, I understand my role as a professional in this subject and how it is paramount I adopt and keep with a style of tutoring that aids enthusiasm, clarity and transparency towards the protection of the ever-changing natural world (adhering to DofE's November 2025’s curriculum review expectations). I tutor with confidence and consistency that investigates physical and human processes, with statistical reinforcement to embed high-level geographical understanding and an appetite to interpret the environment that surrounds us, and a willingness to pursue future opportunities related to the subject of Geography that stems from my honest approach to teaching and rich interest towards the study of the earth.

During my PGCE studies, I have had exposure to modern research and adaptive teaching techniques that have nourished my pedagogical understanding and my own skillset in practice, with profound consideration towards SEND and EAL. With mentoring from both school and university professionals, I’ve had consistent constructive feedback and tailored targets to strengthen my oracy skills and subject knowledge in a digestible, fulfilling manner.

In concern to volunteer work, I volunteer for the RSPB as an Assistant Youth Group Leader, which involves coordinating local meet-ups and sessions for ages 8-12 that cover water testing, habitat building, and surveying of species. This specific opportunity has been widely beneficial concerning transferrable skills to teaching geography and educating individuals on ecosystem management, delivered with high levels of enthusiasm and receiving strong engagement from those participating.

All of which mentioned above adds to my suitability to be a perfect Geography tutor, whether my services are required online or in-person. I'm willing to commute within the Merseyside area and my youthful, honest approach to the subject will encourage a true appreciation to Geography, which will feed into school studies very nicely.
