My GCSE psychology lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style. At the start of each lesson, we review prior knowledge and set clear objectives so students know exactly what they are working towards. I explain key psychological concepts in a clear, accessible way, breaking down complex theories into manageable parts and using real-life examples to help students understand and remember the content.

Lessons typically combine explanation, discussion, and active practice. Students regularly complete exam-style questions so they become familiar with command words, mark schemes, and how to structure high-quality answers. I provide clear feedback, showing students how to improve their responses and gain more marks. Where needed, I focus on specific exam skills such as evaluation, research methods, and using evidence effectively.

I create a supportive and patient learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Lessons are adapted to suit different abilities, whether a student needs extra support with the basics or wants to push towards top grades. I can also help with revision planning, confidence building, and preparing for assessments and mock exams.

My approach is calm, encouraging, and focused on progress. I aim not only to improve grades but also to help students feel confident and motivated in psychology. By the end of my lessons, students should have a stronger understanding of the subject, improved exam technique, and greater confidence in their abilities.
