My lessons are friendly, interactive and tailored to each student. I start by finding out what the student already knows and identifying any areas they are struggling with, so that we can focus our time where it is most useful.

I’m currently studying a PGCE in Chemistry at UCL, so I’m developing my teaching skills alongside my subject knowledge. I also have experience supporting students at both GCSE and A Level and achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Chemistry myself.

Lessons can include explaining key concepts in a simple and clear way, working through examples together, practising exam questions and reviewing mistakes. I place a strong focus on exam technique, as understanding how to apply knowledge to exam questions is just as important as knowing the content.

I’m patient and approachable, and I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My aim is to build both their understanding and confidence, while helping them make steady progress towards their goals. I’m happy to adapt lessons depending on whether a student needs help with specific topics, regular revision or preparation for upcoming exams.
