Why are you learning English?

What would you like to improve about your English?

My name is Josh and I'm a native British English speaker from Cambridge, UK. With me, you'll make fast progress and learn to use English like a native speaker! I'm TEFL certified and I've been teaching English as a foreign language online for more than six years. In that time, I've had the opportunity to meet people from all around the world, and I've loved getting to know different cultures. Also, I'm a language learner myself, so I understand what it's like to be in your position.

In our lessons, we'll focus on improving the quality of your spoken and written English, while simultaneously enhancing your comprehension and listening skills. We'll have conversations that you will enjoy because you will be in control of the topic(s) that we select. Alternatively, we can work on improving your fluency and spontaneity by covering a variety of different topics that I choose; it's completely up to you!

Firstly, we'll discuss what your purpose for learning English is, which will allow me to make sure that the lessons are tailored to your specific needs as a student. Then, during our conversations, I'll make notes that you can refer back to after our lesson(s), which will help you to identify areas for improvement. We can also use many different resources to help you perfect your English skills, such as articles, audio clips and videos. This will provide you with the ideal environment for improving your English.
