Josh Yang

Hi, I'm Josh — a singer, Choral Scholar, and final-year BMus student at King's College London, currently teaching singing with Musecool (formerly Lycaeum Music) for the past three years. What makes my teaching a little different is that I'm still a student myself, actively developing as a musician — so I understand exactly what it feels like to be learning, making mistakes, and pushing through plateaus. That perspective shapes every lesson: I don't just teach from the outside, I grow alongside my students.

My lessons are personalised and relaxed, built around your goals, whether that's building confidence, nailing a tricky top note, prepping for an exam or audition, or just singing for the joy of it. We'll work on technique, tone, and breath control through practical exercises, but always with plenty of room for creativity and fun. I've taught students from age 6 through to adults, so however experienced you are, we'll find the right starting point and build from there together.
