Jonathan Arias

My expertise in the field of Spanish linguistics is extensive, and I am confident that I can provide some students with an excellent education in the language. I have been teaching Spanish for over 5 years, a field where I feel at home, professionally. Languages and culture are some of my passions. My relevant experience includes the following highlights:

• Being able to adapt my teaching/tutoring methods to each individual student's needs, as well as having a lot of patience. I been told that I am very good at making complex grammar concepts easy to understand

• Since I began teaching/tutoring Spanish as a second language, 90% of my students have dominated Spanish grammar, pronunciation, reading and speaking fluently. Taking interest in a students hobbies and purpose for learning Spanish as a second language is a powerful tool when tutoring; it can make learnt a language both effective and fun

• Additionally, my students have learned every day colloquialisms from both Spain and Latin America; being fluent in both Spanish and English, being immersed in both cultures by living in the U.S., Spain, and Latin America is advantageous when tutoring a language
