I am an experienced and well-qualified teacher (MA TEFL, DELTA, CELTA, PGCE) of English to professionals and university students, as well as a senior examiner for Cambridge International language exams. My deep knowledge of instructional design and adult learners allows me to analyze adult learners´ needs, design theoretically-sound curricula and deliver proven results, including both formative and summative assessments and evaluations.

Having lived and worked in five countries over 25 years, I have helped adult students from many languages and cultures to communicate successfully and with confidence and fluency in business situations.

My current clients include:

• Spanish Ministry of Defence - preparing high-ranking staff for high pressure situations eg UN/NATO conferences
• Femxe, a Spanish training provider – ensuring pharma professionals can communicate confidently in English
• Chamber of Commerce, Madrid - ensuring hospitality professionals can communicate confidently in English

Prior to teaching, I worked for three years as a Systems Trainer / Client Services Manager, managing a small team and delivering multi-day bespoke IT training and consultancy services across Britain. The team delivered client support in both real-world and virtual environments.
