In my time teaching I have learned the most effective ways to teach, the methods that allow students to make the quickest and most valuable progress for them as individuals. The overall goal I have as a teacher is to free my students from the stress of communicating in a language that isn’t their mother tongue. Stress leads to anxiety which can build and effect all aspects of your work, not just those that depend on English. Once you elevate and release this stress and anxiety you can take pleasure from your work, build up confidence and take that next step forward in your life.
I need to understand your personal goals and what you wish to achieve from learning English. Whether it’s preparing for the interview process, honing your skills and improving your fluency or, to become a more effective communicator. Then, along with the knowledge of what aspect of your job uses English the most, we have the path set out for us and I can personally tailor lessons to help you achieve your goals.
I have gathered many teaching materials to help at every level of language learning. I have also developed my own lessons and exercises that go along with these materials that can be tailored to the individual and I am always creating more for every new student I teach. Each student is different and how they learn is different. I want to find the right combination of engaging work, learning resources and conversational exercises that work for you. This method is much more flexible and moves away from very rigid and stiff school learning and online school learning, which doesn’t allow room for the individual, often grouping together students who are at different levels who need different kinds of help and different resources.
