John Cooke

Hi! My name is John, and I’m an A-Level Student from Northern Ireland. I’m currently studying French, English literature, and Health and Social Care with the hope to pursue English and French at University. As a native English speaker, I would love to be able to help other language learners to become more confident with their conversational skills and their overall comprehension of the English Language. As a Language Learner myself, I can advice you on how to practice, how to remember what you have learnt, and adapt the conversation to your interests. I can also help you with any exams you may sit, whether it be written or spoken - I’m a big fan of grammar, so I’m more than willing to explain to you how more complex concepts work.
Depending on your strengths and weaknesses, I can prepare exercises for you to aid you with certain points mentioned in our lessons, and adjust the content of lessons to better suit your progress.
Finally, I would love to have some cultural discussions! I can tell you about life here in the UK, and especially how language is shaped in terms of slang, and how to better deal with these situations. I would also be delighted to hear about all different lifestyles from all over the world, as I would like to be an ESL Teacher abroad in the future.
