Every lesson is tailored to the individual student’s needs and learning style.

Our first lesson will focus on getting to know each other, identifying strengths, areas for development and discussing goals, whether that’s building confidence, preparing for the 11+, improving GCSE grades or tackling a specific topic.

From there, each lesson will typically include:

* A quick recap of previous learning to reinforce understanding.
* Clear explanations of new concepts using worked examples.
* Guided practice where we solve problems together.
* Independent questions to build confidence and identify any misconceptions.
* Constructive feedback and discussion about next steps.

I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Building confidence is at the heart of my teaching, because when students believe they can succeed, their mathematical understanding and results naturally improve.

Where appropriate, I can also provide additional practice questions and revision strategies to reinforce learning between lessons.
