Jessie Rodgers

My lessons will consist of a nice balance of learning and fun, i intend to get to know you as a student as well as teaching and guiding you through your subject. Further to this I look to explore subjects through a lens of adventure, learning is never something to fear rather an approach to expand the mind and always acknowledge there’s something new to be learned. Through working with prospective students at Northumbria university I understand how apprehensive students can be to further study however with my aid I look to encourage and foster and support students. With my degree in criminology and forensic science as well as a levels in chemistry and biology I know how daunting science can seem, however collaborative learning is often key to success, with my help students can look to achieve high grades as well as self confidence in themselves to achieve what they’ve always been capable off.
