One to one singing lessons for adults take place in Girton from Jessica Summers B.Mus. Hons KCL; PG Dip in Performance Teaching GSMD; Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.
Jessica is a professional classical singer who has taught and performed for over twenty years. She has run a successful singing teaching practice for adults and children in Cambridge since 2006, working with a wide variety of people and teaching a range of musical and vocal styles.
She has an enhanced DBS certificate, public liability insurance and is a member of AOTOS (Association of Singing Teachers) and the Musicians' Union.
Lessons are packed with all kinds of information:
- Breathing technique and vocal warm-ups
- Exploring a range of song repertoire
- Musicianship skills
- Confidence building
- Audition and exam preparation
- and most importantly, finding a real enjoyment of singing!
