My lessons are tailored to each student's individual goals, whether you're a complete beginner looking to build confidence, an experienced performer preparing for auditions, or someone who simply loves to sing and wants to develop their voice.

As a professional theatre director, musical director, performer and vocal coach, I bring a holistic approach to singing tuition. Rather than focusing solely on vocal technique, I help students develop the complete skill set required for confident and engaging performance. This includes vocal technique, breath control, acting through song, storytelling, interpretation, performance confidence, audition preparation and stage presence.

Having worked professionally with organisations including Curve Theatre, the National Theatre, Stagecoach and a range of performing arts schools and theatre companies, I understand what performers need both in training and in the industry. My experience directing musicals and coaching performers allows me to help students connect technique with performance, ensuring songs feel truthful, expressive and engaging.

Lessons are supportive, encouraging and tailored to your pace. I believe every voice is unique, and my role is to help you discover and develop your own sound rather than trying to fit into a particular mould. Sessions may include vocal warm ups, technical exercises, song work, character exploration, acting through song techniques and practical performance coaching.

For students preparing for auditions, I can provide guidance on song selection, audition technique, character development, confidence building and performance preparation. For those learning for enjoyment, lessons focus on developing vocal skills while building confidence and enjoyment in singing.

With a background in education as well as professional theatre, I understand how different people learn and adapt my teaching style accordingly. My aim is always to create a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their goals.
