As someone who achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Biology (Triple Science) and is now studying Medicine at university, I have a strong foundation in biology and a deep understanding of how to succeed in exams. My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully tailored to each student’s needs. I begin each session with a short recap to consolidate previous knowledge, followed by a focused breakdown of new topics using visuals, real-world examples, and memory techniques to aid understanding. I’m a big believer in active learning, so I regularly include exam-style practice to keep students involved and build confidence. I also focus on improving exam technique by going through past paper questions and mark schemes, helping students understand exactly what examiners are looking for. Because I’ve been through the process myself and succeeded at a high level, I know what it takes to turn confusion into clarity and boost performance. I’ve helped students who were struggling to grasp content as well as those aiming for top grades, and I adjust my pace and approach to suit each learner. I’m friendly, patient, and committed to making lessons a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My aim is not just to help students do well in biology, but to actually enjoy the subject and feel motivated to improve.
